Drilled once, repeated perfectly. Our Stoke-on-Trent workshop provides a multi-spindle boring service for hinge holes, shelf-pin rows and dowel patterns. We repeat your agreed drilling pattern accurately across each run of cabinet components.
Hardware preparation
- Concealed hinge holes — standard cup patterns, positioned to your spec.
- Shelf-pin rows — evenly spaced, aligned side to side so shelves sit level.
- Dowel holes — for carcass joints that pull up square at assembly.
- Repeat runs — one setup, then every panel in the batch drilled identically.
Fitted on site vs drilled in the workshop
Drilling on site means measuring every panel by hand, twice. Workshop drilling means components arrive ready to bolt together — faster fits, cleaner results, and no mis-drilled panels to hide.
Drilling pairs with panel cutting and edge banding for complete components — or go one further and have us handle cabinet assembly too.
Preparing your cabinet drilling specification
What should my drilling drawing show?
Identify each panel and its reference face and edge. Mark hole positions, diameters and depths, plus the quantity required. Include the hardware specification or drawing for hinge, shelf-pin and dowel patterns.
Can I combine drilling with cutting and edging?
Yes. Send the cutting list, edge-banding requirements and labelled drilling drawings together so the workshop can quote the complete component pack.
What if my drawing is not ready?
Use the enquiry form to explain the cabinet and hardware you are working with. Final dimensions and drilling details must be agreed before manufacture.
