Panel Cutting & Cut-to-Size Boards
Sheet materials, cut square and true. Our Stoke-on-Trent workshop cuts MDF, MFC, plywood and laminated boards to your drawings or cutting list on a sliding table saw. Bring your own sheets or have us supply the board for accurately sized components.
What we cut
- MFC (melamine-faced chipboard) — carcass and furniture board in a wide range of decors.
- MDF — plain, moisture-resistant and veneered, ready for finishing or painting.
- Plywood and birch ply — structural and furniture-grade.
- Laminated boards — cut cleanly without chipping the face.

Most cut jobs pair with ABS edge banding — or go the whole way with the full cut & edge service, add drilling, or have us assemble the cabinets.
Preparing your cut-to-size board order
Which measurements should I send?
List each panel’s length, width, thickness and quantity in millimetres. Give each part a reference and mark grain direction on wood-effect boards so the layout can be checked.
Can I supply my own sheets?
Yes. Tell us the material, thickness and sheet sizes, or ask us to supply the boards. Material suitability and the final cutting specification are confirmed before work starts.
Do you cut MDF and MFC for wardrobes and cabinets?
The workshop cuts MDF, MFC, plywood and laminated boards from your cutting list. If visible edges also need finishing, specify the edges to receive ABS banding or use the combined cut-and-edge service.
