Computer-Controlled Finishing

ABS edging at 0.4, 1 & 2mm — machine-consistent.

Our CNC edge bander lays ABS edging with a consistent glue line and a trimmed, buffed profile — the same finish on the first panel and the four hundredth. Bring cut panels, or have us cut and edge in one job.

Which Thickness

0.4mm, 1mm or 2mm — what each is for

All three are ABS — durable, impact-resistant and heat-applied. The difference is how much edge protection and how soft a corner profile you want.

0.4mmLight-duty edging for interior faces and low-wear edges — the most economical finish
1mmThe all-rounder — visible edges on cabinets, shelving and furniture with a neat, durable corner
2mmHeavy-duty protection with a softly radiused corner — worktop edges, doors and high-traffic furniture
Why It Matters

Machine edge vs iron-on

  • Heat-applied under pressure — a glue line you don't see, and edging that doesn't lift.
  • End-trimmed and buffed by the machine — no hand-finishing marks, no rough corners.
  • Identical result across a whole batch — panel one hundred matches panel one.
  • Decor-matched edging across a wide range of board colours and woodgrains.
